A pilaster configuration featuring the Acanthus Corbel used as a capital, a reeded insert on top of a profiled base. This combination is very strong and elegant. It can be sized to suit requirements for length and width. As shown is 5' wide configuration with 2" depth at top. Insert also features a bottom detail.
Specifications Pilaster are flat backed in thickness shown with capital supplied separate. Carved standard in unfinished material in the wood choice selected. Carving will start at top and run continuous in piece with residual uncarved area at base to permit plinth installation and trimming for overall length required. (see photos for details). Paint grade can be any hardwood available at our shop including wood that may be off color. Stain grade is generally sweet gum or similar light color. Please specify any other preference in notes. Custom requests welcome by inquiry. Lead times are generally 10-14 days till shipment. Shipment is from Oregon. Custom sizes are available by request.
