The wood carved Egg and dart frieze molding is one of the most classic of all the architectural art forms and has been used extensively in period and contemporary homes. The contrast between the soft shadows and hard corners makes for an eye catching but pleasing form. This version features very prominent eggs and makes a strong presentation for installation alone or in combination with molding. Carved standard in 8’ lengths, 2.125" w x 1.375" thickness, unfinished, from material in the wood choice selected. CUSTOM REQUESTS PLEASE INQUIRE.
Specifications Friezes are flat backed and carved in 8’ lengths, x width and thickness selected in unfinished material of the wood choice selected. Borders are as shown. Carved art runs complete length unless requested special. Paint grade can be any hardwood available at our shop including wood that may be off color. Stain grade is generally poplar or sweet gum. Lead times vary with items but generally 7-10 days till shipment. Shipment is from Oregon. Special requests for art or other changes are welcome by inquiry and may incur additional design fees.
