Heartwood Carving abstract panels installed at Portland Arts Center.

Working in concert with Architectural Molding and Millwork of Eugene, Heartwood Carving created these panels as a background for the Box Office at the new Portland Armory performing arts center.

The assembly is comprised of 4 uniquely carved abstract panels in Medite II and coated for fireproofing requirements. When combined with proper lighting each panel has a dramatic surface effect that draws your attention. See other examples of abstract panels here.
